Easy Buttermilk Doughnuts

Easy Buttermilk Doughnuts- Serves 4-6.

Ingredients:
2 cans mini buttermilk biscuits
4 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Oil, for frying

Directions:
Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan or skillet, enough to cover biscuits. Using a pill bottle or doughnut hole cutter, cut circles out of the buttermilk biscuits. Gently drop the buttermilk biscuits into the oil. Don’t crowd them, do a few batches if you have to. Flip when one side turns golden brown.

When both sides are evenly golden brown, remove from oil and place on a paper towel to drain. Do the same for the doughnut holes. Once drained, place your coatings in paper bags. (If you prefer other coatings or only one, choose what you like.) Shake well to coat, remove from bag and serve warm.
