Biscuits and Gravy

Biscuits and Gravy- Serves 6.

2lbs breakfast sausage
12 biscuits. (store bought or homemade)
6 tablespoons flour
1 cup hot water
2 cups milk
Salt and pepper, to taste

Fry sausage in a large, deep frying pan until cooked through. Do not drain. Add flour to the cooked meat, continue to stir until the flour is browned. In a separate bowl or glass, mix hot water and milk. Add to meat and flour mix. Continue stirring until thickened. Add more milk if the gravy is too thick. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve over biscuits or toast.
